Musical Copyright Society Nigeria (MCSN) is a Nigerian Collective Management Organization.
We serve as an intermediary between owners of musical works & sound recordings (Songwriters, Composers, Publishers, Performers, Rightsowners) and users of such works (Businesses, Venues, apps, Streaming, Broadcasters, etc).
On behalf of our Members, we license and collect royalties for a range of uses of composition and recorded music in Nigeria when their songs are publicly performed live, broadcasted or made available online.
As an MCSN member, you enjoy global representation for your music rights. We have agreements with other organisations like us around the world. So when your music is used in another territory, our affiliates collect money on your behalf. They then pay these royalties to us, and we pay you.
